WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST CONTRIBUTION AS A COACH?
Helping others have always been my passion, recognizing there isn't a one fit all mold is essential in helping your client's meet their goals. Understanding the client's individual needs is essential in order to assist them in reaching their goals. I work from a strength based approach and assist the athletes in recognizing their strengths as well as understand the barriers that can keep them stuck.
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO COACHING?
I saw how Crossfit changed my life both physically and mentally and wanted to give back to the community.
FAVORITE MOVEMENT OR WORKOUT?
Anything with weights
LEAST FAVORITE MOVEMENT OR WORKOUT?
Burpees, Burpees, Burpees!!!!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF IRON FOUNDRY ATHLETICS?
Outside of Crossfit, I like to spend time with my family, and friends, and of course my dogs! I am a horror fanatic so love to go to haunted houses!
ADVICE FOR SOMEONE STARTING OR WANTING TO START CROSSFIT OR EXERCISE?
Just do it, everything is scalable. You would be surprised at what you can do, the hardest thing is believing in yourself overcoming the negative self doubt.
FINISH WITH A JOKE.
I suck at jokes, so borrowed from my kid: Why did the blond get a perm? Because her trainer said curls might help!
